Chris Simma founded Open Water Productions in 2008 while still working in his career — a career that spans 9 years in the television industry and 15 years in academia. That background shapes how he approaches every project today: years in TV built a foundation in broadcast-quality production, while over a decade in academic work sharpened his eye for clarity, structure, and how to communicate ideas so they actually land. That mix shows up in everything from a polished corporate brand video to a training series or course modules built for a classroom or online education. What drives Chris is simple: a commitment to high-quality work. Every project — whether it's a quick sports highlight reel or a multi-day event shoot — gets the same level of care and attention to detail, because for Chris, "good enough" isn't the standard.
