Alabama Game Changers (AGC) was co-founded in 2014 by Pediatrician Stephanie Denton and certified pediatric nurse, Karen Belcher. This organization was their dream. The dream to merge the medical and educational communities together to help children in Alabama who struggle to learn due to various hurdles such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. The initial focus was on early diagnosis along with evidence-based effective interventions. The Morris Center (TMC) at Alabama Game Changers takes this dream to the next level. This center provides a medical model combined with a proven program for academic resilience and success. This center is the third of its kind in the world. Historically, The Morris Centers (in Trinidad and Ocala, FL) have had extraordinary results in treating learning difficulties using a scientifically researched and proven model of neuro-rehabilitation.
